SATA-IDE10 is a Serial ATA to Parallel ATA BridgeBoard (1.5Gbps) featuring SunPlus SPIF223A Serial ATA Controller (Direct Connect Vertical type) .

SATA-IDE10 is ideally suited for tailgate interface applications for converting Parallel ATA device to Serial ATA device. Both ATA and ATAPI modes are supported using the same firmware.
It allows PATA drive to be connected to SATA host controller. SATA-IDE10 provides the perfect solution for legacy IDE (ATA/ATAPI) devices to be attached by new SATA host controller.
