FWBU2-IDE11 is a FireWire 800 (IEEE 1394b) & USB 2.0 ComBo to IDE (ATA/ATAPI) bridge board featuring Oxford OXFW912 FireWire 800 (IEEE 1394b) to IDE Bridge Controller and Ali M5621 USB 2.0 to IDE Bridge Controller.

FWBU2-IDE11 is ideally suited for tailgate interface applications for removable-media drives CD-ROM, CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-ROM, DVD-RAM, tape drive, and hard disk drive. It allows IDE drive (Master or Slave) to be connected to USB 2.0 or FireWire (IEEE 1394) serial bus in a plug-and-play fashion.

FWBU2-IDE11 allows users to easily hot-swap IDE drive without interrupting the current operation. FWBU2-IDE11 provides the perfect solution for data backup and transferring of data between computers using IDE (ATA/ATAPI) devices.
