FW-ATA2501D is a FireWire (IEEE 1394a) to ATA bridge board featuring Oxford OXFW911plus FireWire (IEEE 1394a) to ATA Bridge Controller.

FW-ATA2501D is ideally suited for tailgate interface applications for 2.5" Flash Disk and Hard Disk Drive.

FW-ATA2501D supports "Striping" and "Spanning" RAID function.

It allows two ATA drives (master and slave) to be connected to FireWire (IEEE 1394a) serial bus in a plug-and-play fashion.

Users can easily hot-swap FireWire (IEEE 1394a) drive without interrupting the current operation.
