Introduction

U31-NVMe21E is an USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps) to PCIe Gen3 x2 NVMe device adapter. It uses for external USB 3.1
Gen 2 (10Gbps) NVMe (PCIe-based) SSD application without additional driver.
The U31-NVMe21E has an USB 3.1 SuperSpeedPlus Type-C UFP (Up Facing Port) and a PCIe x4 (x2 mode) Slot for connecting all kind of NVMe (PCIe-based) SSD Modules. The high performance USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps) interface can connect to any super speed plus/ super speed/ high speed or full speed USB host or USB hub and can instantly be detected as "USB Attached SCSI (UAS) Mass Storage Device".
The PCIe x4 (x2 mode) Slot (Downstream Port) will allow you to install PCIe Add-in-Card form factor NVMe (PCIe-based) SSD Modules. You also can install M.2 NVMe SSD, U.2 NVMe SSD or CFexpress Card with the help of M.2, U.2 or CFexpress to PCIe x4 Adapters.
U31-NVMe21E provides a Jumper which allow user to set the function for selecting Write Protection (Read-only) or Read / Write.
