U2ATA25OTG01 is an USB 2.0 to ATA enclosure with On-The-Go function for 2.5 inch HDD. U2ATA25OTG01 can be set to either PC or OTG mode:

• PC mode:
  It's designed to enable hot-swap, plug-and-play operation for 2.5" ATA HDD through the connection to USB 2.0 interface installed on a computer.

  

• USB On-The-Go host mode:
  U2ATA25OTG01 provides the On-The-Go function for backup of data from other USB storage device.

  

U2ATA25OTG01 combines two key components.
1).USB 2.0 to ATA Bridge Board

1).USB 2.0 to ATA Bridge Board:

• IDE (ATA) Interface: Female mini 2X22 pin Connector
• USB 2.0 Interface: One USB A-Type connector
• USB Bus Transfer Rate: High Speed (480 Mbit) And Full Speed (12 Mbit)
• USB Bus Power: Bus Powered Mode Operation
• Power indicator LED and HDD Access LED
• DC Power Connector: Walkman-type 2.0 mm DC Jack
• Complies with ATA/ATAPI-6 Draft Specification:
  • PIO Mode 0-4
  • DMA Mode 0 ~ 2
  • Ultra DMA Mode 0-4 and LBA48

2).Mechanism:

• Aluminum made housing.
• Provide one push button on the front panel
• Provide one slide switch for PC or OTG mode selection
• Provide Lock Ring
• Provide Foot Stand to hold U2ATA25OTG01 stand still
• Provide the screw hole for 2.5" ATA HDD.

  • USB Bus-powered
  • DC Power Input: DC +6V ~ 12V.
• USB Bus Power Link Cable(Applied when connecting USB host with 500mA current limitation)
  • Allocate two free USB ports from the computer.
  • Plug the USB A plug connector of the USB Bus Power Link Cable into the USB port.
  • This will allow one of the USB port to supply more than 500mA current for the USB device.
