Mirror Drive is a selectable hardware RAID enclosure for two 3.5" SATA HDD. A true hardware solution, Mirror Drive requires no software to be installed on your machine.

It provides 4 hardware RAID mode:

• RAID 1 (Mirroring): for two disks with same capacity.
• RAID 0 (Striping): for two disks with same capacity.
• Spanning: for two disks with different capacity.
• Non-RAID (JBOD).

RAID 1 (Mirroring):
By mirroring technique, Mirror Drive maintains data in two disk drives simultaneously and securely. If one drive fails, Mirror Drive automatically switches operations to the functional drive and alert the failure. Once a new HDD is installed to replace the defective drive, the Mirror Drive will automatic rebuild the entire HDD image in the background, while providing the un-interrupt data connection to the system

RAID 0 (Striping) and Spanning:
By striping/ spanning technique, Mirror Drive integrates two HDDs into a big drive.

Mirror Drive provides the cost-effective solution for data backup.

• Provides two mobile tray for 3.5" SATA HDD
• SATA HDD direct connect to SATA cable (no converting P.C.B required)
• Support both SATA (1.5 Gbit/sec) and SATA II(3.0 Gbit/sec)
• Provides Keylock
• One 40x40 mm cooling fan
• Error indicator LED and HDD Access LED for each SATA drive
• Provides RAID setting switch in the rear panel

UFISATA35DMR combines three key components.

1). USB 2.0 & FireWire (IEEE 1394a) to SATA Bridge Board:
