Introduction

IOI-CB1394DET is designed with power-class 0 so it does not need power and does not provide bus power to the IEEE 1394 Bus. No power limitations on Self-powered devices, IOI-CB1394DET supports all Self-powered devices. It will not support all Bus-Powered devices. Optional FireWire repeater is a must for Bus-Powered devices. Please contact us for more info about FireWire repeaters.
