Introduction

IOI USB's PC CardBus to USB 2.0 host adapter (type II CardBus), CB-501, is a powerful tool for connecting CardBus compliant notebooks to high speed USB 2.0 devices. CB-501 takes full advantage of the newest USB 2.0 devices including hard drives and CDRWs. It's a perfect choice for adding USB to laptop PCs which have no USB ports, or existing USB systems which need high speed (up to 480Mbps) connections. CB-501 is fully backward compatible with existing USB 1.1 devices and allows you to connect USB based printers, modems, speakers, scanners, and many of other devices. The installation is easy without complex setup guide, confusing plug-ins, or IRQs. The device connectivity is up to 127 USB products to your notebook. Its plug-and-play and hot-swappable features run smoothly under Windows 98SE, Millennium Edition, 2000, and XP systems.
