M2-PCIE4XCA01 is M.2 (Socket 3 Key M PCIe-based SSD Module Pinout) to PCI Express x4 Adapter. You can insert your M.2 PCIe SSD Module into the M2-PCIE4XCA01 then insert it into standard PCIe slot on the computer.

The design provides multiple protection modes. They are a robust defense against Overloads, Shorts Circuits, Voltage Surges, Excessive Inrush Current, and Hiccup Short Circuit Protection.
