Introduction

QIP4X-D4XM201 is a PCI Express (PCIe) x8 Gen 3 to four M.2 (Socket 3 Key M PCIe-based SSD Module Pinout) docking system.

It provides one upstream port supporting x8, and four downstream ports that support M.2 operation.

The design provides multiple protection modes. They are a robust defense against Overloads, Shorts Circuits, Voltage Surges, Excessive Inrush Current, and Hiccup Short Circuit Protection.

For all those without M.2 (Socket 3 Key M PCIe-based SSD Module Pinout) on their computers, this is an useful solution for installing all kind of M.2 PCIe SSD Modules.

No additional software or drivers are needed.
