HU2S214 provides two downstream USB ports, and two SATA port.
It is ideally suited for tailgate interface applications for two SATA devices.
It allows SATA drives to be connected to USB 2.0 serial bus in a plug-and-play fashion.
HU2S214 provides a cost-effective solution for system integrator to integrate two SATA drives into their system through the USB 2.0 serial bus.

HU2S214SV combines two key components:
1). Four ports USB 2.0 High Speed Hub
2). USB 2.0 to SATA Bridge Board

1). Four ports USB 2.0 High Speed Hub:

HU2S214SV provides four downstream USB ports, with Multiple Transaction Translator (MTT) for all ports, making it the most cost effective hub solution.

The HU2S214SV works backward compatible either when any one of downstream ports are connected to an USB 1.1 compliant device, or when the upstream port is connected to a USB 1.1 compliant host.
