(UTP) Cable at 400 Megabits per Second (Mbits/s)
- PHY Chip: TI TSB41BA3D.
- Number of ports:
- Two Bilingual Cable Port (with Jackscrew Lock Holes)
- One RJ45 Cable Port (with Jackscrew Lock Holes)
- 1394 Bus Transfer Rate:
- Two Bilingual Cable Port: S400b only Beta operating speed and data strobe: S400, S200, and S100 operating speeds
- One RJ45 Cable Port: 1394b-2002 Beta-only, S400b, S200b, and S100b operating speeds
- DC Power Connector: Walkman-type 2.0 mm DC Jack
- Power Input Range: DC 8V~30V, max. 3A
- Power Consumption: Under 3 Watts.
- IEEE 1394 Power Class::
- FWB-UTPS400 was designed with 1394 power class 4 (PC0 ~ PC2 = 100).
- FWB-UTPS400 is a bus-powered device, it could be powered from DC Jack/ FireWire (IEEE 1394) bus and will repeat the power to FireWire (IEEE 1394) bus.
- Power Class Descriptions: Node may be powered from the bus for the PHY only using up to 3W and may also provide power to the bus. The amount of bus powerthat it provides can be found in the configuration ROM. * Each IEEE 1394 (FireWire) port is protected by one 1.35A/33V Fuse.
