Introduction

PCIEX16D05-5S is PCIe x16 to four PCIe x16 (x4 mode) Slots Expansion Docking Board.

The PCIe Gen 5 slots are backward compatible and support PCIe Gen 5/4/3/2 add-in card, Target Cable Adapter, and DPU (Super NIC).

It supports the following applications.

  • External PCIe Cabling Application:
    A PCIe docking board extends the PCIe slot from the motherboard to an external enclosure.
  • PCIe Fanout Application:
    A PCIe docking board is used for interfacing a DPU (Super NIC) with a PCIe add-in card.
